Oyster Cards can be used in 2 ways:
- As a Travelcard Season Ticket valid for 1 or more London Fare Zones. This can be used for travel between any National Rail station within the Zones and Dates for which the Oyster Travelcard is valid. Please note that the London Fare Zones Area boundaries on Chiltern Railways are West Ruislip and Amersham.
- As pre-payment for any journey on London Underground, London Overground, London Buses, London Trams, Docklands Light Railway, Thames Clippers and, within the Oyster Pay As You Go area, National Rail. On Chiltern Railways Pay As You Go can be used between Amersham and London Marylebone and between West Ruislip and London Marylebone inclusive (and all intermediate stations).
Conditions of use
Oyster Pay As You Go can NOT be used to pay for any other journeys on Chiltern Railways. Tickets for journeys using Chiltern Railways services, to stations other than those mentioned above, must be purchased before boarding the train, unless no ticket purchase facilities are available. Penalty Fares apply.

Season tickets on Oyster
As of 20 December 2019, Chiltern Railways will no longer be offering Oyster Season tickets from our booking offices. Oyster Card Season tickets remain valid on Chiltern Railways services. Passengers can still buy Travelcards from Chiltern website or booking offices, but these will not be issued on Oyster Cards. Passengers wishing to purchase Oyster Card Season tickets may purchase these directly from Transport for London.
