What is PlusBus?
PlusBus is a discount price bus pass that you buy with your train ticket. It gives you unlimited bus travel (on participating operators’ services) to and from the rail station and around the whole urban area of the rail served town or city.
For each town there is one travel zone that covers the whole urban area. With a PlusBus ticket you can travel as much as you like by bus within this zone.
How do I buy PlusBus?
You can buy a PlusBus ticket with most types of rail ticket (single, day return period return and season ticket), at any booking office and from self-service ticket vending machines. You can get PlusBus for the start and / or the end of your journey.
Unfortunately at this moment in time, PlusBus tickets are not available to purchase online.
Where can I use PlusBus?
PlusBus is available for 290 rail-served towns and cities across Britain. To see Plusbus services across the UK, go to this interactive map. On the Chiltern Railways network PlusBus is available for 10 locations, including:-
