An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Planned MAJOR engineering works.
- ASLEF industrial action (overtime & rest day work ban).
The railway is CLOSED between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury for 10 weeks between 19th August and 29th October inclusive. This is to facilitate HS2 civil engineering works including construction of a new bridge to carry the Chiltern line over the HS2 line.
During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows:
- Princes Risborough - Aylesbury.
- Princes Risborough - Monks Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.
Buses will connect with trains at Princes Risborough.
In respect of industrial action, a generally reduced service will be in operation. In particular, the following stations will have a limited or no Chiltern Railways service:
- LIMITED SERVICE: Denham Golf Club, Kings Sutton, Warwick and Hatton.
- NO SERVICE: Lapworth, South Ruislip, Northolt Park, Sudbury Hill Harrow and Sudbury & Harrow Road.
CHANGES TO EARLY MORNING & LATE NIGHT SERVICES:
- 05.40 Princes Risborough - Marylebone is CANCELLED.
- 05.55 Princes Risborough - Marylebone is CANCELLED.
- 22.02 Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street (LAST TRAIN).
- 22.57 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via Amersham; LAST TRAIN).
- 23.11 Marylebone - Oxford (LAST TRAIN).
- 23.21 Marylebone - Princes Risborough (LAST TRAIN).

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
