Saturday 9th September 2023:

An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

  • Planned MAJOR engineering works at multiple locations:

The railway is CLOSED between Bicester North and Banbury. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows:

  • Bicester Village - Banbury.
  • Bicester Village - Kings Sutton - Banbury.

Additionally, the railway is CLOSED between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury for 10 weeks between 19th August and 29th October inclusive. This is to facilitate HS2 civil engineering works including construction of a new bridge to carry the Chiltern line over the HS2 line.

During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows:

  • Princes Risborough - Monks Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.

Buses will connect with trains at Princes Risborough.
