Friday 18th August 2023:

An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

  • Planned MAJOR engineering works.

IMPORTANT: Please note that Chiltern Railways are unable to serve The Weeknd event at Wembley stadium, due to the above engineering works resulting in a shortage of resource. NO TRAINS WILL CALL AT WEMBLEY STADIUM ALL DAY.

The railway is CLOSED at Aylesbury for 12 days between 7th and 18th August inclusive. This is to facilitate re-buildlng of a failed drainage culvert immediately south of the station.

During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows:

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
  • Princes Risborough - Aylesbury.
  • Princes Risborough - Monks Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.

Buses will connect with trains at Princes Risborough and with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham.
