Saturday 12th August 2023:

An amended/reduced timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

• Planned MAJOR engineering works.
• ASLEF industrial action (overtime & rest day work ban).

IMPORTANT: Please note that Chiltern Railways are unable to serve the RFL Challenge Cup Final at Wembley stadium, due to the above engineering works resulting in a shortage of resource. NO TRAINS WILL CALL AT WEMBLEY STADIUM ALL DAY.

The railway is CLOSED at Aylesbury for 12 days between 7th and 18th August inclusive. This is to facilitate re-buidling of a failed drainage culvert immediately south of the station.

During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows:

• Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
• Princes Risborough - Monks Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.

Buses will connect with trains at Princes Risborough and with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham.

In respect of indsutrial action, a generally reduced service will be in operation.

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
