RMT INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Due to planned RMT industrial action on this date, a VERY LIMITED timetable will be in operation, structured as follows:

  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Oxford (and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Banbury (and vice versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury (via High Wycombe, and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Aylesbury Vale Parkway - stations to Amersham (and vice-versa).

In particular, please note the following:

  • There will be NO Chiltern Railways service North of Banbury.
  • Start of service will generally be between 08.00 and 09.00 (see below).
  • End of service will generally be between 16.00 and 17.00 (see below).

FIRST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 08.40 Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Amersham.
  • 07.55 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 08.36 Oxford Parkway - Marylebone.
  • 09.10 Banbury - Marylebone.
  • 09.34 Oxford - Marylebone.

FIRST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 08.05 Aylesbury - Banbury.
  • 08.05 Marylebone - Banbury.
  • 08.26 Aylesbury - Oxford.
  • 08.35 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).
  • 09.00 Marylebone - Oxford.
  • 09.33 Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

LAST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 15.34 Oxford - Marylebone.
  • 15.45 Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Amersham.
  • 16.04 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 16.08 Banbury - Marylebone.
  • 16.40 Oxford Parkway - Marylebone.
  • 16.55 Banbury - Aylesbury.
  • 17.26 Oxford Parkway - Aylesbury.

LAST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 14.00 Marylebone - Oxford.
  • 15.05 Marylebone - Banbury.
  • 16.00 Marylebone - Oxford Parkway.
  • 16.33 Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
  • 16.55 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).

Chiltern Railways High Wycombe-line tickets will be accepted for travel on the following London Undergound services:

  • Metropolitan Line: Baker Street - stations to Hillingdon and Amersham.
  • Central Line: Oxford Circus - Northolt - South Ruislip - West Ruislip.
  • Bakerloo Line: Oxford Circus - Baker Street - Marylebone - Wembley Central.

Finalised timetables are uploaded into online journey planners 9 weeks before the date of operation. Please check your journey in the planner at the following link: https://buy.chilternrailways.co.uk/. Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
