Sunday 2nd April 2023:

In connection with planned (subsequently suspended) RMT industrial action the previous day, there will be NO train service before approximately 10.00. The start of service will generally be between 09.00 and 10.00 (see below), and there will be minor timetable changes throughout the day.

FIRST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 08.19 Banbury - Marylebone.
  • 08.38 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 09.12 Birmingham Moor Street - Marylebone.
  • 10.11 Oxford - Marylebone.

FIRST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 09.42 Marylebone - Oxford.
  • 09.49 High Wycombe - Oxford.
  • 09.53 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).
  • 10.00 Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street.
  • 10.12 Banbury - Birmingham Moor Street.

Additionally, an amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

  • Wembley Stadium event - Papa John's Trophy Final (Bolton Wanderers vs Plymouth Argyle - 15.00 KO).
  • Euston - Birmingham New Street line closure.

An enhanced timetable will be in operation for most of the day, with some additional trains serving Wembley Stadium.

Additional and lengthened trains will also operate on the Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street route for most of the day.

Rail replacement buses will be in operation over the following route sections, and vice-versa:

  • Bicester North - Kings Sutton - Banbury (for journeys to/from Kings Sutton ONLY).
  • Leamington Spa - Warwick - Warwick Parkway (for journeys to/from Warwick ONLY).
  • Warwick Parkway - Hatton - Lapworth - Dorridge (for journeys to/from Hatton and Lapworth ONLY).
  • Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway. For journeys to/from London, connecting trains should be used between Marylebone and Beaconsfield.
