RMT INDUSTRIAL ACTION (Network Rail Signallers)
Due to planned RMT industrial action by Network Rail signallers at the Thames Valley Signalling Centre on this date, Chiltern Railways services to/from Oxford are affected as follows:
- Before 07.30: Trains will operate only between Marylebone and stations to/from Oxford Parkway.
- 07.30 to 18.30: Trains will operate to/from Oxford as normal.
- After 18.30: Trains will operate only between Marylebone and stations to/from Oxford Parkway.
- The 23.11 Marylebone - Banbury (via Oxford) terminates at Oxford Parkway and does NOT serve Oxford, Tackley, Heyford, Kings Sutton and Banbury.
FIRST & LAST TRAINS TO & FROM OXFORD:
- 06.09 Marylebone - Oxford.
- 07.41 Oxford - Marylebone.
- 16.50 Marylebone - Oxford.
- 18.20 Oxford - Marylebone.
Additionally, in connection with the Frankfurt Christmas Market (Birmingham), and in order to provide additional capacity on late night trains from Birmingham, the following timetable alterations apply:
- 20.36 Marylebone - Birmingham Snow Hill terminates at Birmingham Moor Street (22.32).
- 22.11 Birmingham Snow Hill - Banbury starts at Birmingham Moor Street (22.14), is lengthened to 6 carriages and does not call at Lapworth and Hatton, due to being over-length.
- 23.30 Birmingham Snow Hill - Banbury starts at Birmingham Moor Street (23.33) and is lengthened to 5 carriages.
