Our new timetable starts on Sunday 15 December 2024
The Chiltern Railways December 2024 timetable starts on Sunday 15th December 2024 and has few changes, when compared to the previous timetable.
A small number of services have had their times changed by a few minutes with the aim of improving overall punctuality. Customers should check journey planners to see if their train is affected.
The main changes relate to some changes made during the late afternoon and late evening on weekdays, which aim to better match demand to capacity on some of our busiest trains.

- 0557 Bicester Village-Oxford service is retimed to leave at 0603.
- 1604 Banbury-Marylebone service will no longer call at Saunderton, but will instead call at Beaconsfield.
- The 1619 Oxford-Marylebone service will now call at Saunderton instead of Beaconsfield.

Sundays
- No notable change.
Leaf Fall (Southbound services via Amersham only)
- The Autumn leaf fall timetable is extended through to(and including) Sunday 12 January 2025. This extension is due to a need for our timetable to fully integrate with the London Underground Metropolitan Line timetable.
- The Leaf Fall timetable only affects trains that run on the Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Amersham - London Marylebone route in the Southbound direction (towards London).
- Trains between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Rickmansworth have had their departure times altered and will leave up to 3 minutes earlier than before. Train times will revert to normal
Weekend Changes to Train Times - check before you travel
