Important notice: Emergency timetable in operation due to Storm Alex

Due to speed restrictions affecting all services using the lines between Birmingham, Bicester and Princes Risborough we have had to make a number of late notice changes to the timetable. This is because the anticipated delays caused by the slow running of trains means that we are only able to run four trains an hour in each direction through Princes Risborough.

• On Saturday morning two trains from Kidderminster to Marylebone have been cancelled and in the evening two trains from Marylebone to Kidderminster have been cancelled. We plan to run an hourly service between Birmingham and London in each direction throughout the day.
• All day, the train services between Marylebone and Oxford will operate once an hour in each direction (instead of twice an hour).
• We anticipate that journey times will be extended by up to 25 minutes on the Birmingham route and by up to 15 minutes on the Oxford route.

We plan to run the planned service timetable elsewhere, however train crew and carriage displacement may cause delays and disruption throughout the day. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by these late notice cancellations and changes, however safety is of paramount concern.
