Sunday 30th July 2023:

Due to planned RMT industrial action the previous day, start of service will be later than usual; first trains will operate between 09.00 and 11.00.

MAJOR ENGINEERING WORKS

The railway is closed between Bicester North and Leamington Spa, and also between Oxford Parkway and Oxford all day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows:

  • Bicester North - Leamington Spa.
  • Bicester North - Kings Sutton - Banbury.
  • Oxford Parkway - Oxford.

Additionally, the railway is closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all day due to planned engineering works. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:

  • Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

FIRST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 08.28 Birmingham Moor Street - Leamington Spa.
  • 09.30 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 09.47 Bicester North - Marylebone (connecting bus from Banbury dep 08.05).
  • 10.17 Oxford Parkway - Marylebone (connecting bus from Oxford dep 09.15).

FIRST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 09.47 Marylebone - Oxford Parkway.
  • 09.52 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).
  • 10.25 Marylebone - Bicester North.

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
