MAJOR ENGINEERING WORKS
Due to planned Network Rail engineering works, the railway will be closed between Wembley Stadium and Bicester Village/Bicester North all day. There will be no through trains between Marylebone and Gerrards Cross/Beaconsfield/High Wycombe, nor between Marylebone and Bicester Village/Oxford, nor between Marylebone and Birmingham. Passengers may need to travel via alternative routes, use other operator's services and/or on rail replacement buses. Most journey times will be considerably longer than usual.
A limited train service will operate on the following route sections:
- Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham).
- Princes Risborough - stations to Aylesbury.
- Bicester Village - stations to Oxford.
- Bicester North - stations to Birmingham Moor Street.
- Leamington Spa - stations to Stratford Upon Avon.
Rail replacement buses will operate as follows:
- Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Bicester Village - Bicester North.
- High Wycombe - Amersham.
- Hillingdon (LU) - High Wycombe - Princes Risborough - Haddenham & Thame Parkway - Bicester Village - Bicester North.
- West Ruislip - Hillingdon (LU) - Denham - Gerrards Cross - Beaconsfield - High Wycombe - Saunderton - Princes Risborough.
- Additionally, the 08.25, 08.55 and 09.45 Birmingham Moor Street - Bicester North services will be replaced by buses between Birmingham Snow Hill - Solihull - Dorridge.
Passengers travelling between Marylebone, Bicester Village, Oxford, Banbury and stations to Birmingham should travel via Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Passengers travelling between Marylebone and High Wycombe (only) should travel via Amersham.
Passengers travelling between London, Denham, Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield should travel via Hillingdon (using London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street).
