22nd June 2024
Saturday 22nd June 2024:
An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Euston - Birmingham New Street route closure.
IMPORTANT: We're expecting services to be much busier than usual on this date, because of engineering works between Birmingham New Street and Euston. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to call at Wembley Stadium as well as providing the additional capacity needed between Birmingham and London. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
An enhanced Chiltern Railways service will operate between Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street, with lengthened and some additional trains.
Due to over-length trains, no trains will call at Kings Sutton, Hatton and Lapworth. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, for local journeys ONLY to/from these stations:
- Bicester North - Kings Sutton - Banbury.
- Warwick Parkway - Hatton - Lapworth - Dorridge.
No Chiltern Railways trains will operate between Leamington Spa and stations to Stratford Upon Avon for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains at Leamington Spa:
- Leamington Spa - Warwick - Stratford Upon Avon Parkway - Stratford Upon Avon.
No Chiltern Railways trains will operate between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham) for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:
- Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Finalised timetables are uploaded into online journey planners 9 weeks before the date of operation. Please check your journey in the planner at the following link: https://buy.chilternrailways.co.uk/. Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
