ASLEF INDUSTRIAL ACTION - Overtime & Rest Day Work Ban

Due to planned ASLEF industrial action on this date, together with prior-planned engineering works, a VERY LIMITED SERVICE will be in operation, structured as follows:

  • Up to 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Birmingham Moor Street (and vice-versa).
  • 2 trains per hour Marylebone - stations to Oxford (and vice-versa).

Additionally, no Chiltern Railways services will operate on the following routes/at the following stations:

  • NO SERVICE: Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway (engineering works).
  • NO SERVICE: Princes Risborough - stations to Aylebury (engineering works).
  • NO SERVICE: Hatton - stations to Stratford Upon Avon.
  • NO SERVICE: Birmingham Moor Street - stations to Kidderminster.
  • NO SERVICE: South Ruislip & Northolt Park.

In respect of the prior-planned engineering works, rail replacement buses will operate over the following route sections, and vice-versa:

  • Princes Risborough - Monks Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.
  • Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway. For journeys to/from London, connecting trains should be used between Marylebone and Beaconsfield.

Finalised timetables are uploaded into online journey planners 9 weeks before the date of operation. Please check your journey in the planner at the following link: https://buy.chilternrailways.co.uk/. Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
