Monday 15th to Friday 19th May 2023:

ASLEF INDUSTRIAL ACTION - Overtime & Rest Day Work Ban

Due to planned ASLEF industrial action on these dates, a VERY LIMITED SERVICE will be in operation, structured as follows:

  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Birmingham Moor Street (and vice-versa).
  • 2 trains per hour Marylebone - stations to Oxford (and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone/Princes Risborough - stations to Aylesbury (and vice-versa).
  • Additional services will operate during the morning and evening peak periods.

No Chiltern Railways services will operate on the following routes/at the following stations:

  • NO SERVICE: Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
  • NO SERVICE: Hatton - stations to Stratford Upon Avon.
  • NO SERVICE: Birmingham Moor Street - stations to Kidderminster.
  • NO SERVICE: South Ruislip, Northolt Park, Sudbury Hill Harrow, Sudbury & Harrow Road and Denham Golf Club.

Rail replacement buses will operate over the following route section, and vice-versa:

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway. For journeys to/from London, connecting London Underground services should be used between Amersham and Baker Street.
  • On Friday 19 May ONLY, the 23.33 Marylebone - Aylesbury service will terminate at High Wycombe, for a connecting bus forward to Aylesbury.

Finalised timetables are uploaded into online journey planners 9 weeks before the date of operation. Please check your journey in the planner at the following link: https://buy.chilternrailways.co.uk/. Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
