RMT INDUSTRIAL ACTION

Due to planned RMT industrial action on this date, a VERY LIMITED SERVICE will be in operation, structured as follows. This service will only operate between approximately 09.00 and 21.00:

  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Banbury (and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Oxford (and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury (via Amersham; and vice-versa).

In particular, no Chiltern Railways services will operate north of Banbury, and we are unable to serve the Vanarama Play Off Final at Wembley Stadium - NO TRAINS WILL CALL AT WEMBLEY STADIUM, NORTHOLT PARK AND SOUTH RUISLIP ALL DAY.

Additionally, the railway is closed between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury all day. Rail replacement buses will operate over the following route section, and vice-versa:

  • Princes Risborough - Monks Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.

FIRST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 07.48 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via Amersham).
  • 09.36 Oxford - Marylebone.
  • 10.09 Banbury - Marylebone.

FIRST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 07.40 Marylebone - Oxford.
  • 08.10 Marylebone - Banbury.
  • 10.00 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via Amersham).

LAST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 19.16 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via Amersham).
  • 19.36 Oxford - Marylebone.
  • 20.09 Banbury - Marylebone.
  • 20.24 Oxford Parkway - Marylebone.
  • 20.55 Bicester North - Marylebone.
  • 21.06 Bicester Village - Marylebone.

LAST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 17.40 Marylebone - Oxford.
  • 18.10 Marylebone - Banbury.
  • 18.40 Marylebone - Oxford Parkway.
  • 19.10 Marylebone - Bicester North.
  • 19.35 Marylebone - Bicester Village.
  • 21.30 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via Amersham).

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
