RMT INDUSTRIAL ACTION & MAJOR ENGINEERING WORKS

Due to planned RMT industrial action and major engineering works in the Oxford and Banbury areas on this date, a VERY LIMITED SERVICE will be in operation between approximately 08.00 and 22.00, structured as follows:

  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Bicester North (and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Oxford Parkway (and vice-versa).
  • 1 train per hour Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury (via High Wycombe; and vice-versa).
  • 1 bus per hour Bicester North - Banbury.
  • 1 bus per hour Oxford Parkway - Oxford.
  • Periodic bus shuttle Bicester North - Kings Sutton - Banbury.

Additionally, the railway is closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all day due to planned engineering works. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with London Underground services to/from Baker Street at Amersham:

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

No Chiltern Railways services will operate on the following routes:

  • NO SERVICE: Banbury - stations to Birmingham and Stourbridge Junction.
  • NO SERVICE: Hatton - stations to Stratford Upon Avon.

Additionally, the railway is closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all day due to planned engineering works. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with London Underground services to/from Baker Street at Amersham:

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

FIRST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 06.37 Bicester North - Marylebone (connecting bus from Banbury dep 05.45).
  • 07.44 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 09.19 Oxford Parkway - Marylebone (connecting bus from Oxford dep 08.15).

FIRST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 08.05 Marylebone - Bicester North.
  • 08.20 Marylebone - Oxford Parkway.
  • 09.00 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).

LAST TRAINS (SOUTHBOUND):

  • 19.36 Aylesbury - Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 19.49 Oxford Parkway - Marylebone.
  • 20.45 Bicester North - Marylebone.

LAST TRAINS (NORTHBOUND):

  • 19.17 Marylebone - Oxford Parkway.
  • 19.56 Marylebone - Bicester North.
  • 21.00 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
