Work on our new faster Mainline service is really gathering pace, with major works planned for Friday 5 November resulting in significant schedule changes.

How will my journey be affected?

Travelling between the West Midlands, Leamington Spa, Banbury and London Marylebone

Passengers are advised to travel on the diverted Chiltern Railways service to Didcot Parkway for connections to London Paddington with First Great Western services. Valid Chiltern Railways tickets will be accepted on First Great Western services in both directions between Banbury, Didcot Parkway and London Paddington. This will add 50 minutes to your normal journey time. 

Alternatively, you can also travel on Chiltern Railways to Bicester North, for bus replacement services to Aylesbury Vale Parkway and connecting Chitlern Railways services to London Marylebone via Amersham.

Travelling between Bicester North and London Marylebone

Passengers are advised to travel on the bus replacement services to Aylesbury Vale Parkway, for connecting Chiltern Railways services to London Marylebone via Amersham.

Passengers may also drive to Aylesbury Vale Parkway (SatNav HP18 0PS).

Travelling between Haddenham & Thame Parkway and London Marylebone

Passengers are advised to travel on the bus replacement services to Aylesbury, for connecting Chiltern Railways services to London Marylebone via Amersham.

Passengers may also drive to Aylesbury (SatNav HP20 1RU).

Travelling between Princes Risborough and London Marylebone

From 0600 - 0900 to London
Passengers are advised to travel on the bus replacement services to Beaconsfield, for connecting Chiltern Railways services to London Marylebone.

0900 - 1600 in both directions
Passengers are advised to travel on the bus replacement services to High Wycombe, for connecting Chiltern Railways services to London Marylebone.

From 1600 - 1900 from London
Passengers are advised to travel on Chiltern Railways services to Beaconsfield, for connecting bus replacment services.

From 1900 - 0010 in both directions
Passengers are advised to travel on the bus replacement services to High Wycombe, for connecting Chiltern Railways services to London Marylebone.

Passengers may also drive to Beaconsfield station (SatNav HP9 2PJ).

Bus replacement between High Wycombe, Saunderton, Princes Risborough, Haddenham & Thame Parkway and Bicester North.

Trains will run to a revised timetable between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury.

Travelling between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and London Marylebone via Amersham

Trains will run to a revised timetable. 

Travelling between High Wycombe and London Marylebone

Trains will run to a revised timetable. There will be slightly fewer trains, although journey times will be similar to normal.
